Eagles Eye Photo Imaging located in Albuquerque, New Mexico (NM) specializes in Aerial Photography and Stock Photography for the Santa Fe and surrounding NM areas. Lee Morgan is responsible for organizing the aircraft permitted into the restricted airspace, by the Balloon Fiesta Officials during these special events such as the Balloon Glow and Special Shapes Rodeo. The restricted flight area, known as a TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction) area, extends 3 nautical miles from the center of the field, starting at ground level and up to 3000′ above ground.

Bear in mind Lee creates these images while hand-holding the camera and moving through the air at 80 mph, 1,300 feet above the ground, in the dark, from a fixed-wing airplane. The images are taken immediately following sunset to eliminate the long shadows created by the huge balloons. For those of you wondering how Lee flies and shoots at the same time–safely–he always utilizes a safety pilot to operate the controls and watch for any unauthorized aircraft in the area.

Eagle’s Eye is not a contractor and is not subject to retainage. All necessary business liability insurance is carried and we provide our own safety equipment on site. Once a proposal is signed and accepted, we will require a Purchase Order # for the job, to attach to the monthly invoice. Aerial photography is classified as a service by the New Mexico State Tax Revenue Dept. Therefore Gross Receipts will be added to each invoice, which are NET 30. The quoted prices for the construction management tool, do not include shipping, delivery fee’s or use fee’s of the photographic images for Company marketing or sub-contractors, which would require the purchase of a Reproduction License or additional prints. Generally it is best for the subs to contact us directly.

All final photographic work is produced locally in our own digital photo lab. This enables us to control cost, quality, confidentiality and turn around time. No photograph of the project will ever be provided to another source by Eagle’s Eye, without authorization from the project manager or Contracting Company during the building process.
